Our Story
Macel & Company is a family business created by three sisters and their mother. Being a family rich with tradition, we have always had a desire to make our homes and events matter. The timing felt right after mom's retirement from teaching, to start a business and share the linens we had designed and used daily in our own homes. We saw a void in the marketplace for an easy, chic and stylish tablecover for folding utility tables.
It seemed fitting to name the company after our Grandmother Macel who always appreciated things well designed.
Like Macel, our goal as a company is to be original and exude creativity.
Our company was created out of a desire to take something great and make it even better. We first created these table linens for our offices, where on a tight budget, we found that they looked very chic on a utility table and made for a stylish alternative to expensive office desks. We loved them so much that we started using them at family gatherings for buffet tables and for dining, both indoors and out.
Since 2005 we have been providing quality linens for utility tables as well as standard tablecloths. We are passionate about our products and look forward to new styles and trends coming soon.
